“2023 World Cup Hockey Schedule and Results: Tampere and Riga Host Main Tournament of the Year”

The main hockey tournament of the year will be held from 12 to 28 May in Tampere (Finland) and Riga (Latvia).

The aggressor countries – Russia and Belarus – are not allowed to the tournament. At the first stage, 16 teams in two groups will play each other. The top four advance to the quarterfinals. The worst ones are relegated to the IA division. Earlier, the hockey team of Ukraine recognized the opponent in the world championship.
