Group drawing results 2023 U-23 Asian Cup can already be seen. U-23 Indonesian National Team entered Group A, with Qatar and Australia.
Taking place at the Al Bustan Ballroom, Wyndham Hotel, West Bay, Doha, Qatar, the 2023 U-23 Asian Cup group draw took place, Thursday (23/11/2023) at 16.00 WIB. Indonesia is in pot 4, with great potential to meet strong teams.
Apart from Indonesia, Malaysia, Tajikistan and China are also in pot 4. Pot 1 is filled with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Japan. Pot 2 is Australia, Iraq, Vietnam and South Korea. Meanwhile, pot 3 is filled by Thailand, Jordan, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
Indonesia are in Group A with Qatar, Australia and Jordan. Group B is filled with Japan, South Korea, UAE and China.
Meanwhile, Group C is filled with Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Thailand and Tajikistan. In Group D, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Kuwait and Malaysia. The two best teams in each group will advance to the quarter-finals of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup.
The top three teams in the Cup 2023 U-23 Asian Cup will qualify directly for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Meanwhile, fourth place will undergo a playoff with African representatives.
