2023 U-17 World Cup has been completed. Chairman of PSSI, Erick Thohirsaid that FIFA was very positive about Indonesia’s success in becoming host.
The U-17 World Cup first kicked off on November 11 2023. This event will finish on December 2 2023 with Germany vs France meeting in the final match.
Germany became champions on penalties after drawing 2-2 in normal time. After the match, Erick said that FIFA was very positive about Indonesia.
“I can’t judge, that’s FIFA’s domain. FIFA is very positive, FIFA is even offering several events in the future, I don’t know yet what those events will be,” said Erick.
Indonesia used four venues to hold the U-17 World Cup. There are Jakarta International Stadium, Gelora Bung Tomo, Si Jalak Harupat, and Manahan Stadium.
“It’s positive, yes, because our stadium is good, the quality of the grass, access, hospitality, hotel, airport service, as Indonesians, they are all satisfied. They see our U-17 World Cup as the best to date. During the implementation that has taken place “We are the best,” Erick emphasized.
