U-17 Indonesian National Team will undergo a determining match to qualify for the last 16 2023 U-17 World Cup against Morocco U-17, Thursday (16/11). The following are the conditions for Indonesia to qualify for the last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

Arkhan Kaka and friends will undergo the third matchday match of Group A of the U-17 World Cup against Morocco U-17.

The Indonesia vs Morocco match will be held at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, on Thursday (16/11) evening at 19.00 WIB.

The Indonesia vs Morocco duel is a match that will determine the fate of the two teams to qualify for the last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

The Indonesian U-17 national team is now in third place in Group A with two points from draws against Ecuador and Panama.

Meanwhile, Morocco is in second place in Group A with three points from winning against Panama and losing against Ecuador.

Following are the 3 requirements for the Indonesian U-17 National Team to qualify for the Top 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup:

1. Indonesia wins over Morocco

The Indonesian U-17 national team will automatically qualify for the last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup if they win over Morocco, Thursday (16/11).

Victory over Morocco will give Indonesia five points from the three matches played in Group A.

In fact, Indonesia could qualify for the last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup as winner of Group A if Ecuador loses to Panama at Manahan Stadium Solo, Thursday (16/11) at 19.00 WIB.

However, if Indonesia wins and Ecuador also wins, then the Garuda Muda team will qualify for the last 16 as runners up in Group A.

2. Indonesia Draws Against Morocco

If they draw against Morocco, the Indonesian U-17 National Team still has a chance of qualifying for the last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup, even though it is a bit complicated and anxious.

The reason is, Indonesia must hope that in Group F Mexico does not win against New Zealand and in Group E South Korea does not win against Burkina Faso.

In this way, Indonesia will qualify for the last 16 by being one of the four teams that finished in the best third place at the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

3. Indonesia lost to Morocco

Defeat to Morocco could also mean that Indonesia still has a chance of qualifying, even though it is slim and very risky.

The reason is, Indonesia once again has to depend on the results of other countries. Indonesia must hope that in Group F Mexico does not win against New Zealand and in Group E South Korea does not win against Burkina Faso in its last match.

Apart from that, Indonesia must also hope that Ecuador wins over Panama in Group A. In this way, Muhammad Iqbal Gwijangge and his friends will qualify for the round of 16 by becoming one of four countries that finished in the best third place at the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
