Mexico U-17 has now succeeded in overtaking South Korea in fifth place in the 2023 U-17 World Cup standings.

This certainty was obtained after Mexico was able to win one point after drawing 2-2 against Venezuela U-17 in the 2023 U-17 World Cup Group F match at the Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Wednesday (15/11).

On the other hand, South Korea again failed to pick up points after losing 0-1 to France at JIS, Wednesday (15/11).

Meanwhile, the top position in the third best ranking in the U-17 World Cup is still occupied by Group C contestant Iran, who has scored three points from the two matches played.

Then second place was occupied by Group B contestant Uzbekistan who collected three points from two matches.

Then, third place was occupied by Japanese Group D contestants who scored three points.

Furthermore, the fourth position was occupied by the Group A contestants of the U-17 Indonesian National Team who collected two points from the two matches played.

Indonesia’s position in the race for the best third place ticket is now threatened because it is only one point ahead of Mexico and two points ahead of South Korea.

Moreover, there are still Spain, England and Senegal with each collecting six points, all three of which still do not rule out the possibility of entering the competition for the best third place ticket if they lose on the third matchday they play.
