Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 May. The Loiretaine, organized by the Department in the park of the castle: demonstrations and sports activities, with around thirty disciplines and an unprecedented canoe-kayak race.
Sunday June 11. “Cycling show”. This free artistic bike ride will take participants on a discovery of the city and allow them to attend performances. Departure from Place du Port at 3 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
From Friday 26 to Sunday 28 May. Rhododendron Festival.
Wednesday June 21. Music festival from 7 p.m. in the new hall.
Friday July 7th. “Biblio’Marché” under the new hall, from 9 to 11 am. The librarians will set up a stand to meet Castelneuvians. The opportunity to learn about registrations, the fund and the events offered during the year.
Thursday July 13. On the bowling alley and the quays of the Loire from 7:30 p.m. concert, catering and fireworks.
Tuesday July 18. “Biblio’Parc” in the park of the castle, from 9 to 11 am, to listen to stories. Open to children and parents.
July and August. At the Loire Marine Museum, every Saturday and Sunday at 3.30 p.m., guided tours of the collections. From July 12, every Wednesday, at 2 p.m., youth workshop for 6-12 year olds on the theme of boats with the creation of a model of a Loire boat. And at 3 p.m., “sandshooter, a job like no other” workshop with the creation of a colored sand painting. Price: 3 euros. Reservation required at 02.38.46.84.46.
From August 19 to 26. Locals, tourists and visitors will enjoy a brand new entertainment, the “port guinguettes”, from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekends. With groups and professional artists from Loire or Loire on the bill.
