As part of yesterday’s Pokémon Presents presentation, The Pokémon Company finally shared more details about the 2023 Pokémon World Championships. While we previously knew they would be held in Yokohama, Japan, the Japanese company did reveal the date of the event, the host venue, and even the art of the competition.
The top-flight event, scheduled for August 11-13, will take place at Pacific Grounds in Yokohama, where players will compete in Pokémon: The Card Game, Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, Pokémon Go and a number of other titles.
As for the key art, you can check out this one below, which has a bunch of nods to Japanese culture to mark the first time the game was held in Pokemon’s home country.
