Aleix Espargaro won dramatically at the British MotoGP after beating Francesco Bagnaia on the last lap.
Bagnaia dominated the race by placing first for a long time. However, towards the end of the race, Aleix was able to overtake Bagnaia and lock up the win.

Aleix Espargaro’s victory at the British MotoGP has made the 2023 MotoGP standings slightly changed. Aleix rose two places to sixth place by collecting 107 points.
The first position still belongs to Pecco Bagnaia who must be satisfied with the second podium in this race. The Italian racer won 214 points.
Marco Bezzecchi’s failure to gain points in this race due to a fall on the 15th lap forced him to drop his ranking. Bezzecchi dropped to third place overtaken by Jorge Martin.
Apart from Bezzecchi, a number of racers also failed to score points due to an accident. Honda racer, Marc Marquez, was one of those who returned home empty-handed as a result of the incident with Enea Bastianini.
Alex Marquez also did not get points because he had a problem in the middle of the race and had to return to the garage. Joan Mir also had an accident. While Takaaki Nakagami and Iker Lecuona Crow got points after finishing out of 15th place.
