Forbes has drawn up the 2023 ranking of Italy’s Scrooges. He confirms himself as (by far) the richest Giovanni Ferrero, with a net worth of $39.1 billion. And it’s boom of billionaireswith the “club” expanding with 20 more people than a year ago: today there are 70 Scrooges. In second place is Giorgio Armani with a wealth of 12.9 billion dollars, equal to less than a third of that of “Mister Nutella”, who is currently the 32nd richest person in the world and the fifth in Europe. The podium is completed by Piero Ferrari, son of Enzowith 7.6 billion dollars.
The total sum of their assets is
230.1 billion dollarsalmost 70 billion more than at the end of 2022 but three less than in July, when Forbes Italia updated the list with the entry of Silvio Berlusconi’s children.
The first woman in the rankingin fourth place, is
Massimiliana Landini Aleotti, owner of the pharmaceutical company Menarini, which has assets of 6.8 billion dollars. They also conquer the top 10
Sergio Stevanato and family,
Patrizio Bertelli, Miuccia Prada, Giuseppe De’Longhi and family,
Giuseppe Crippa and family and
Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone. Among
heirs of Berlusconi, Marina and Pier Silvio they are in 38th place, Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi in 67th.
