Swedish representative Loreen and the song “Tattoo” are considered favorites by bookmakers and contest fans. Latvia failed to win the hearts of European listeners, becoming the only Baltic country that finished its journey in the 2023 “Eurovision” already in the semi-finals.

These are the “big five” countries that have been automatically in the final for years and last year’s winning country!
In 2000, it was decided that the countries that financially support the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) the most would be automatically guaranteed a place in the final, regardless of results. It also became clear that the great powers are the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France and Germany. Since Ukraine won last year, the country is automatically in the 2023 final.
