There are doubts about the participation of Brazilian Igor Cornado, a player Jeddah Union Al-Saudi, against Al-Ahly, scheduled for eight o’clock in the evening tomorrow, Thursday, as part of the quarter-finals of the 2023 Club World Cup, which is currently hosted by Saudi Arabia and continues until December 22.

The Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat said that the last training session for the Al-Ittihad team witnessed the absence of Brazilian playmaker Igor Cornado, and he was in the medical clinic due to minor pain.

Cornado had participated with Al-Ittihad in the victory over Auckland City of New Zealand, 3-0, last Tuesday evening, in the opening of the Club World Cup.

Al-Ittihad training witnessed the return of Moroccan star Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, after his absence from the last match against Auckland City, due to injury.

Venezuelan referee Jesus Valenzuela leads the match between Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad Jeddah in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup, and Valenzuela is assisted by Jorge Orrego (first assistant referee), in addition to Tulio Moreno (second assistant referee), as well as New Zealander Campbell Kirk (fourth referee).

Fahd Al-Otaibi will assume the task of commenting on the Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly match on the first audio channel, while Egyptian journalist Medhat Shalaby will comment on the second audio channel.
