In the golden autumn, there are moving dances and joyful competitions by the creek. Recently, Tuanbao Town, Lichuan City, Hubei Province, with the theme of “Celebrating Harvest and Promoting Harmony and Beauty”, organized more than 320 people of all ethnic groups from villages (communities) and town units to hold a ceremony in the smart vegetable garden of Huangnipo Village in the town. Celebrating the 2023 Chinese Farmers Harvest Festival and the centralized demonstration event of civilized practice in the new era.
The event is divided into four parts. The first stage of the event kicked off with the exciting melody of “Artistic Performance to Celebrate the Harvest” – “A Good Start” with majestic gongs and drums. In the three-stage “Appraisal of Excellent Models to Celebrate the Harvest” session, the 2023 Tuanbao Town Advanced Individuals in Agriculture, Rural Affairs, and 2023 Tuanbao Town Excellent Agricultural Professional Cooperatives, the 2023 Tuanbao Town Volunteer Service Advanced Individuals, and the 2023 Tuanbao Town Excellent Agricultural Professional Cooperatives were awarded. A group of advanced models such as advanced individuals in Tuanbao Town’s public welfare undertakings encourage them to continue to carry forward the will and character of self-reliance and hard work.
In the four-stage “Hemei Competition to Celebrate Harvest” activities, projects such as the “Hemei Rural Healthy Running Competition”, “Corn Picking and Shelling Competition” and “Screen Cutting Competition” attracted the participation of more than 30 people from 9 teams. The three competitions were carried out in sequence. Some of the participating team members carried it on their shoulders, some cut vegetables and removed leaves, and some peeled grains and returned them to the warehouse. In the tense competition atmosphere, they showed both ingenuity and all-out efforts. Hundreds of spectators on the sidelines cheered for the players from time to time, and the whole scene was filled with laughter.
