Barely 14 months after their wedding, her husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce this summer. Ella Leyers and Rik Verheye seemed like a match made in heaven. She is the actress, who also made her mark as a presenter of ‘The Ideal World’. He is the actor who made an impression in ‘Callboys’ and ‘Uncles’. They were part of a whirlwind romance: after just 100 days they got engaged. But just as quickly, the fairytale was over. In February – after about six months of dating – Rik confirmed that they had broken up. “We now want to concentrate on our work,” he said. In an interview with NINA he looked back again – without any bitter feelings. “No matter how explosively – with a bang – we started it, we left with the same bang. And zero regrets. I can cherish that now.”

“Sometimes dreams last. And sometimes not.” With those words, Karen Damen announced at the end of November that her relationship with Antony Van der Wee was over. “With pain in the heart, but with all love and respect for each other, Antony and I have decided to put an end to it. behind our marriage and to go our own way. We do this in the best understanding and both put the interests of our son Sky first,” she added. The former K3 was together with the musician, married for seven years. They have a son together, Sky.

Anaïs & Cedric from ‘House made’

Together they won the second season of the renovation program ‘House Made’, but unfortunately the love between Anaïs and Cedric did not last. In April it was announced that they had ended their relationship. “Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn and things don’t go as hoped.” That did cause headaches about what should be done with their home, Cedric said. Anaïs found the emotional bond with the house too great and therefore decided not to buy. Cedric then chose to temporarily put the house up for rent and return to live with his parents. “This allows me to save and work on myself,” he said.

She was the first friend with whom Olivier Deschacht came out after the divorce with Annelien Coorevits, but unfortunately the fairy tale did not last for Bo Praet. The model and the ex-Red Devil ended their four-month romance in July. Olivier confirmed, but did not want to say much more: “It is a bit too painful.” In the meantime, he would be happy in love again: together with singer Pauline Slangen he is enjoying the beautiful weather in Dubai. Rumors about a possible relationship have been circulating for some time.

“Sorry Joris, my own fault.” In his latest single, Metejoor responds to the gossip that is circulating about the breakup with girlfriend Britt. At the beginning of April, the singer announced that his relationship had ended after four years. “After many wonderful years and sharing countless beautiful moments, it is with great pain in my heart that I have to inform you that Britt and I are saying goodbye to each other as a couple,” he said. No reason was given for the breakup at the time, although gossip had been circulating for some time that Metejoor had cheated on his girlfriend with K3 Julie Boschman. Both parties have always denied that.
In his own documentary series ‘Met de Joris’, Metejoor responded extensively to the adultery gossip.

The year started well for former ‘Temptation Island’ face Megan Desaever. At the end of January she became engaged to her Dutch boyfriend, Dennis Roos. They were a couple for barely five weeks, but the love was strong. “We have both been promiscuous in the past, but that is why I believe that we have had enough of that life. It is time for serious work,” she swooned in an interview. Unfortunately, their relationship did not withstand the test of time. In mid-February, Dennis confirmed that they had already broken up.

Rarely did the fire flare up so high during a first meeting in ‘Blind Married’. Dressed in an identical, deep green wedding suit, Brecht and Dziubi drowned in each other’s eyes, even before they promised each other eternal loyalty. But a first wedding anniversary was not an option for the couple. They announced their split in April. “Over the months we noticed that in addition to the distance, the deeper feelings also failed to materialize and our relationship did not evolve further,” said a joint statement. There was absolutely no bad blood, Dziubi added. “I am going to frame the wedding ring, I will always cherish that memory,” he says. “It’s a shame that our marriage didn’t last, but it has made me friends for life. And when I see Brecht again, it will certainly not be awkward.”
