Juarez City.- From May 8 to 12, the “Canine and Feline Vaccination Campaign 2023” will be carried out, against rabies, reported the State Health Secretariat.
“Roughly speaking, they will be in the Chaveña, Anapra, Obrera, División del Norte, Granja de Chapultepec and Infonavit Casas Grandes neighborhoods, and the entire southeast of the city. Be aware of the vaccination points for this day, since it is very important that you take your pets to be vaccinated,” said Manuel David Mejía Zúñiga, coordinator of Vectors and Zoonoses.
Mejía Zúñiga indicated that the Municipal Government collaborated with trucks to transport the staff team to apply the shields.
The coordinator of Vectors and Zoonoses, said that to date there have been no cases of this disease, and urged the population to take advantage of the application of biologists for their pets.
He added that for the application of the vaccine he will have support from Veterinary students from the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), and from the College of Veterinarians.
“This vaccination day has the collaboration of the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez with the Veterinary career. Students of this degree will be supporting us together with local veterinary colleges, both the College of Small Species Veterinarians and the Mexican Association of Veterinary Doctors, and independent veterinarians also participate, ”he explained.
