The mussel casserole, with its tray of fries, is also why we love the Braderie de Lille. Throughout the weekend of September 2 and 3, 2023, 500 tonnes of mussels should be swallowed up by the brads.
But what prices can you expect for a portion of mussels and fries? Will inflation play spoilsport? To help you, the editorial staff of Lille Actu has scrutinized the menus of many (not all, of course) restaurants. And the prices sometimes go from simple to double: from €10.90 in a broth-type establishment, to €20 (or more) in a trendy restaurant with a rooftop. This year, count on average between 14 and 16€.
