The french team of Billie Jean King Cupconducted by Julien Benneteau and fall of the United Kingdom in qualifying, knows its course for the final stages of 2023. This Wednesday, the organizers unveiled the site which will host the final stages of the competition, scheduled for November 7-12. It will be in Spain, Seville. As a reminder, Switzerland, champion in 2022, and Australia, finalist, will of course be present. Nine nations have won their place for the final stages in qualifying: the France, thees USA, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Germany and Canada.

Poland receives the wild card, draw on May 24
A wild card was also awarded to Poland d‘Each Swiatek. Deprived of the world number 1 during the qualifiers, Poland had fallen to Kazakhstan half April. Logically, the organizers hope for the presence of the queen of the WTA at the end of the year. The draw for the finals and play-offs will take place on Wednesday 24 May. Teams will compete in four groups of three with the four group winners advancing to the semi-finals.
