Main race MotoGP Australia 2023 moved forward to Saturday, the same day as the qualifying round. Below is the complete schedule.
The 2023 Australian MotoGP has undergone schedule changes following the potential for bad weather that may occur at Phillip Island this weekend. The sprint race, which is usually held on Saturday, has now been shifted to Sunday in order to give priority to the main race.
The series of MotoGP events on Saturday (21/10) will still start with a free practice session at 06.10 am WIB, followed by the qualifying round at 6.50 WIB. The main race will take place in the afternoon, to be precise at 11.10 WIB.
If weather conditions permit, sprint race MotoGP Australia will be held on Sunday (22/10) starting at 10.00 WIB. This decision was taken to facilitate fans so that they can continue to be presented with the 27 lap race which is the main attraction.
Competition for MotoGP 2023 is getting fiercer towards the end of the season. Francesco Bagnaia still leads the standings with 346 points, but he is only 18 points ahead of Jorge Martin who is trailing behind. Don’t forget Marco Bezzecchi (283 points) who could give you a surprise.

06.50 – 07.05 WIB: Qualification 1 (Q1)
07.15 – 07.30 WIB: Qualification 2 (Q2)
11.10 – 12.00 WIB: MotoGP main race (27 laps)
Sunday, October 22
10.00 WIB – finish: Sprint race MotoGP (13 laps) – if conditions in the circuit permit
