2023 Asian Games Medal Standings: Indonesia Ranks 12th with Four Gold Medals

The following is the medal standings Asian Games 2023 until Monday (2/10) afternoon WIB. Indonesia is stuck in 12th position.

So far, Indonesia still has four gold medals. The newest gold was presented by Amellya Nur Sifa, last Sunday (1/10), from the BMX-Women’s Individual Moto Run 3 cycling event.

With the amount of gold still stagnant, Indonesia is now in 12th position, aka out of the top 10. Above it are Kazakhstan and Iran, which even though they both have 4 gold medals like Indonesia, are ahead in the number of silver medals.

Thailand is the Southeast Asian country with the best position in medal standings Asian Games 2023 so far. With 10 gold medals, the White Elephant Country is in seventh position.

Meanwhile in the top position, host China still dominates the medal tally. China has collected a total of 141 gold pieces, which is in first place with a total of 254 medals.

China’s current number of gold medals is almost three times more than its closest competitors, Japan and South Korea. The two countries are now in second and third positions 2023 Asian Games medal standings sequentially, each with 30 gold pieces.
