Rules and Format for the 2023 Asian Games Football Sports
The format and rules that apply in soccer sports are the same as other soccer tournaments.
All teams will play group stage matches. There will be two teams that qualify from the group stage to then meet in the round of 16.
After that there will be a top 8 round or quarter-final round. The winners will meet in the semifinals and then the winners will meet in the final to compete for gold and silver medals. Meanwhile, the match for third place will win a bronze medal.
