Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Palestinian national team revealed its roster for the 2023 Asian Cup Finals, scheduled to be held in the Qatari capital, Doha, between January and February.
The Palestinian national team’s roster for the Yellow Continent Championship included 26 players, including local and professional players.
The list included: Naim Abu Akar, Rami Hamadeh, Baraa Kharoub, Amr Qaddoura, Muhammad Khalil, Samer Al-Jundi, Yasser Hamad, Al-Mahdi Issa, Amid Mahajna, Musab Al-Battat, Musa Firawi, Ataa Jaber, Camilo Saldana, Michel Milad, Muhammad Saleh.
In addition to Islam Al-Batran, Alaa El-Din Hassan, Uday Kharoub, Muhammad Bassem, Samer Al-Zubaidi, Tamer Siam, Mahmoud Abu Wardeh, Mahmoud Wadi, Shihab Al-Qanbar, Zaid Al-Qanbar, Uday Al-Dabbagh.
The Palestinian team is in the third group, along with the teams of Iran, the Emirates, and Hong Kong.
The Palestinian national team previously participated in the Asian Cup finals in the 2015 and 2019 editions.
