Christmas Day will have five high-voltage games: Knicks-Bucks, Heat-76ers, Lakers-Celtics, Suns-Mavericks and Nuggets-Warriors. The NBA regular season will begin on October 24 and conclude on April 14. The ‘playoffs’ will begin on the 20th, with ‘play-in’ from April 16 to 19, while the Finals will begin on June 6. The NBA will also launch this year a new tournament within the season, which will be held from November 3 to December 9.
The games, except the final, will also count as regular season games, so the franchises will continue to play a total of 82 games. Only the two finalists would play one more duel, the one for the title in Las Vegas.
