2022 World Cup Qualifying Results: England Beat Albania 2-0

2022 World Cup qualifying results Albania vs England won by the visitors. English win by a score of two goals without reply.

Albania vs England is presented at the Kombetare Arena, Tirana on Sunday (28/3) evening WIB. This is the second match in Group I in World Cup qualification 2022.

England who had difficulty, slowly found a rhythm of the game. Harry Kane made the first goal in the 38th minute.

In the second half, Mason Mount added a goal in the 63rd minute. Score 2-0 for England lasted until the game was complete.

The Three Lions while topping Group I with six points from two wins. Albania are second with three points, which Poland could have overtaken.

The course of the match

In the 12th minute, Albania have a golden opportunity. Starting from a corner obtained by England, the ball bounced into the middle and was misstated by Mason Mount.

Hysaj has the ball and passes to Myrto Uzuni. The last name took off a kick from the front of the penalty box, but it still bounced off the goal.

England have a hard time developing the game. Albania held on quite tightly, making it difficult for Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane to find space.

England just got a chance in the 32nd minute. After Kyle Walker, took off a hard kick towards the goal and was still able to be secured by goalkeeper Berisha.

In the 38th minute, England builds attacks from the right side Albania. Sterling passes to Mount, then on to Shaw. Shaw released the bait from the stomach to the front of the penalty box and was greeted by a measured header by Harry Kane.

English nearly doubled the goal in the 42nd minute. A cross from Sterling was met by Kane, who quickly ran to the front of the goal but his shot still hit the post.

At the start of the second half, England was more determined. The 51st minute, Phil Foden has a golden opportunity. Sterling made a measured pass to him in the penalty area, then Foden fired horizontally.

Goalkeeper Hysaj had a misstep but was still able to brush it off.

Mason Mount scored in the 63rd minute. Starting from an Albanian back line error, Kane was able to steal the ball and provide a through ball to Mason Mount. The Chelsea player was then able to strike the ball easily.

After that not many opportunities were created. England won the match 2-0.
