Johann Zarco emerged as the fastest rider in the second free practice MotoGP USA 2022. Jack Miller and Fabio Quartararo in the top three.
The second free practice session of the United States MotoGP took place at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Saturday (9/4/2022) early in the morning WIB. Jack Miller started the session by being the leader on the track.
Aprilia duo, Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales, briefly showed speed and finished in 2nd and 3rd position. Alex Rins then shot to first place on new soft tires after half an hour of the session.
Francesco Bagnaia rose to second place. But he is barely 0.5 seconds away from Rins who leads the list of riders.
Joan Mir put in a good run to move up to second position towards the end of the session, but he was immediately knocked out by another rider. Miller took first place, while Marc Marquez skyrocketed to move up to third.
The leading position changed again at the last minute. Johann Zarco had the best time to overtake Miller.
Fabio Quartararo ended the session in third position. Enea Bastianini, Rins, and Marquez in a row in 4-6 positions. Vinales, Mir, Bagnaia and Jorge Martin round out the top 10.
