The process of recording Copyright (HC) at the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (Ditjen KI) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) will be accelerated. If so far the process has taken up to three days, starting in early January 2022, it will be completed in just 7-10 minutes.
The Acting Director General of Intellectual Property, Ir Razilu, MSi revealed this to the Detikcom Blunt Team in his office, Wednesday (15/12/2021).
“We set 2022 as the Year of Copyright with the theme ‘Auto of Approval’. So every copyright registration, as long as the complete requirements are met, will be completed later in 7-10 minutes,” said Razilu who is also the Inspector General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
The copyright registration application will be called POP HC (Automatic Approval of Copyright Registration). Through this program, Razilu is optimistic that intellectual property will be able to support the acceleration of economic elections as well as support science and technology (science) and cultural development after the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition, POP HKI also has the potential to contribute to Indonesia’s income through Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) imposed on applicants for registration and protection of Intellectual Property. Razilu is optimistic that this application can increase copyright registration 15-20 times compared to manual recording.
To note, since 2018 the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights has issued a manual for copyright registration. All are transferred online (e-copyright) through copyright recording with cryptographic technology. This e-copyright technology has been included in a public service innovation competition held by the Ministry of PAN RB.
“At that time we competed with around 3000 innovations from all over Indonesia, and entered the Top 99, then the Top 40. This is an innovative breakthrough that has a good impact on progress in the field of Intellectual Property,” said Razilu.
On the other hand, the man who was born in Buton, November 28, 1965, describes the 12 main programs that will be implemented in the Year of Copyright. Everything is directed at supporting the national economic recovery after the pandemic.
Broadly speaking, said Razilu, there are four main areas that will be carried out, namely increasing quality and competitive human resources (HR), transforming the quality of public services with integrity, making intellectual property a supporter of national economic recovery and encouraging science and technology progress and cultural development. , as well as strengthening the infrastructure to support the services of the Directorate General of IP.
“The quality of public services is not enough just to be fast but also with integrity, that is, without any frills to receive or ask for compensation. I hope that all ASNs have the power of repulsion in themselves not to take what is not their right,” said Razilu, who is known for delivering tausyiah since he was a student. at IPB in the mid-1980s.
For this reason, he continued, the Directorate General of IP will seek to obtain ISO certification to instill an anti-bribery culture and certification of service quality management standards.
In addition, the Directorate General of IP will hold a Mobile IP Clinic, Drafting Patent Camp, build IP Market Places, and Certification of Shopping Centers (malls). Especially for this mall certification, he emphasized that it would be done free of charge.
“This benefits them (mall managers), because it guarantees that all the products they sell are free from Intellectual Property infringement,” said Razilu.
