2022 MotoGP standings after Quartararo failed to finish in Australia

MotoGP classification 2022 now it’s over Francesco Bagnaia after Fabio Quartararo failed to finish at MotoGP Australia 2022Sunday (16/10).

Bagnaia managed to finish third in the Australian MotoGP 2022 race. The Ducati rider had been in the lead until the last lap, but was then overtaken by Alex Rins and Marc Marquez.

Bagnaia lost nine points on the last lap for failing to keep the lead. But the Ducati rider still managed to move Quartararo from the top of the 2022 MotoGP standings.

Bagnaia leads the standings with 233 points, 14 points ahead of Quartararo. With two races to go, this result allows Bagnaia to confirm the 2022 world title at the Malaysian MotoGP next week, Sunday (23/10).

Aleix Espargaro, who finished ninth in the Australian MotoGP 2022, is in third place in the standings with 206 points, followed by Enea Bastianini with 191 points, and Jack Miller fifth with 179 points.

Alex Rins successfully climbed to eighth with 137 points after winning the 2022 Australian MotoGP. Rins is behind Brad Binder and Johann Zarco.

Pramac’s Jorge Martin is in ninth place with 136 points, one point ahead of KTM’s Miguel Oliveira.
