Enea Bastianini come out victorious American MotoGP 2022, Monday (11/4) early morning WIB. The following is the MotoGP standings after the American GP.
Bastianini had an impressive race at the Austin COTA Circuit. The Italian racer was able to finish in the front after starting the race from fifth position.
Bastianini, who continued to be in the front row, finally became the leader of the race for the first time on lap 16. He overtook fellow Ducati rider, Jack Miller at Turn 12.
Bastianini was able to maintain that front position until the finish. The 24-year-old was followed by Alex Rins, who finished second and Jack Miller last on the podium.
This result makes Bastianini back to the top of the MotoGP rider standings in 2022. Bastianini now collects 61 points from the four series that have taken place.
The second position is currently occupied by Rins who also made an impressive appearance in the American MotoGP. He collected 56 points or 5 points adrift of Bastianini.
While the previous leader, Aleix Espargaro, had to be willing to go down to third place with 50 points, followed by Joan Mir in fourth place with 45 points.
