The road to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in Asia is approaching a crucial point with the completion of the second round. The eight group winners and the four best runners-up move into round 3.

Among the 13 games on June 7th, the clash between IR Iran and Bahrain in Group C will have a big impact on the outcome of that group. With a win, IR Iran would have everything in their own hands, level on points with the current league leaders Bahrain and one game less in their books.
