Strike a pose! The 2022 CFDA Awards saw the stars in some of their most extraordinary outfits.
The fashion extravaganza, held on Monday November 7 at Cipriani South Street in New York, honored the “best and brightest” in American fashion. The elegant evening was hosted by Orange is the new black alun Natasha Lyons.
The A-list deal, presented in collaboration with Amazon Fashion, commemorated the 60th anniversary of the CFDA (Countil of Fashion Designers of America), a non-profit organization first launched by a well-known publicist Eleonora Lambert. Kim Kardashian, Lenny Kravitz and renowned designer cockroach of the law were just some of the winners of the evening.
Invited or winning, all the celebrities showed up with out-of-the-ordinary looks. Katie HolmesFor its part, dazzled in a silver Jonathan Sitka dress, held together by diamonds. The dress, which included a fabulous fringed hem, gave the Ruisseau Dawson alumed an old Hollywood glam aesthetic as she walked the red carpet.
Kravitz – the winner of the 2022 Fashion Icon Award – stunned in an all-black LaQuan Smith suit, complete with leather flare pants and a fringed tuxedo jacket. The musician tied the look with various rings, three layered silver necklaces, and a pair of oversized sunglasses.
The “Fly Away” singer wasn’t the only one wearing LaQuan Smith on Monday. Khloe Kardashian she also chose the designer for the event, wearing a tight metallic dress. The Good American founder ensemble featured a high neckline that gave way to a deep slit on her torso, showcasing her slim figure.
Kim, whose shapewear and loungewear brand Skims received the new Innovation Award, wore black translucent vinyl PVC, a 2007 model reissued as part of her CiaoKim collaboration with Dolce and Gabbana. Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner et Kendall Jenner were also present
The event also introduced a new designer award for 2022, choosing Law Roach as the first recipient of the honor. The world-renowned designer flaunted her outfit as she walked the red carpet, wearing a long black polka dot white jacket accessorized with a soft pink flower brooch.
