Indonesia qualified for the final of the 2022 AFF Futsal Cup after defeating Myanmar in the semifinals, Friday (8/4/2022). Garuda squad won convincingly 6-1.
This victory not only brought Indonesia to the AFF Futsal Cup final, but also led Evan Soumilena cs to qualify for the 2022 AFC Futsal Cup finals. The competition is scheduled to take place in Kuwait on 25 September – 20 October 2022.

At the top party 2022 AFF Futsal CupIndonesia will face the giant ASEAN team, Thailand. Muhammad Osamanmusa et al qualified for the final after getting rid of Vietnam 3-1.
This will be the fourth meeting between Indonesia and Thailand in the final of the AFF Futsal Cup. The Red and White squad previously lost three times against the Land of the White Elephant in the 2006, 2008 and 2019 editions.
Thailand is a team that can be said to dominate the tournament with 15 trophies from 16 times the AFF Cup held. Another title was won by Indonesia in 2010.
The final of the 2022 AFF Futsal Cup between Indonesia vs Thailand is scheduled to take place on Sunday (10/4) at 17.00 WIB. Prior to the match, there was a fight for third place and tickets to the 2022 AFC Cup between Myanmar vs Vietnam.
