Pub chain confirms shortages at Carling and Coors, with a notice accusing “lack of truck drivers and strikes”
The pub chain Wetherspoon’s is suffering from a shortage of some beer brands, including Carling, Coors and Heineken, amid a Brexit-related shortage of delivery drivers and industrial action.
Parent company JD Wetherspoon, led by vocal Brexit supporter Tim Martin, confirmed on Wednesday that some of their pubs were out of stock after customers reported the problem on social media.
