So far there has been no certainty regarding the presence of spectators at the 2021 U-20 World Cup. Naturally, the condition of the Corona virus pandemic in 2021 also cannot be predicted.

Indonesia is also the Southeast Asian country with the highest COVID-19 cases. According to WHO reports as of July 1, there were 56,385 people infected with the Corona virus. Reflecting on this, Zainudin Amali could not provide certainty U-20 World Cup 2021 can be attended by the audience or not.
“Do not know about this. So, later because it is about the provisions of FIFA, the U-20 World Cup is the property of FIFA, we are the organizers,” said Zainudin Amali, Wednesday (1/7/2020).
He explained again, Indonesia as the organizer did not have the authority to determine the problem of audience attendance. Not PSSI, Kemenpora, and also the Indonesian government. But FIFA as the owner of this celebration.
Certainty of the presence of the audience is awaited by the Indonesian football public who were enthusiastic about watching U-20 World Cup 2021 held in the country. However, if in the end FIFA decided without an audience, Zainudin Amali wanted Indonesia to accept the decision.
“This World Cup is a FIFA product, so for the problem of this audience, we obey FIFA’s rules. If they say they can, it can, if not, yes no,” he said.
