2021 MotoGP standings after the Qatar GP: Vinales at the top, Valentino Rossi scattered: Okezone Sports

DOHA – Monster Energy Yamaha racers, Maverick Vinales, became the winner in the premier series MotoGP 2021 which took place at the Losail Circuit, Qatar. No doubt, this victory has made Vinales currently at the top of the MotoGP standings.

Vinales’ victory at the Qatar MotoGP in 2021 was actually somewhat surprising. Because, many favor Ducati to dominate this series. The Losail circuit has a long straight track in the final sector which is very beneficial for the Ducati motorbike.

However, Vinales was able to reverse this prediction. Although at the start of the race, the rider nicknamed The Top Gun was scattered in the middle row, but slowly Vinales was able to push into the leading position.

With a capital of 25 points, Vinales can certainly face the 2021 MotoGP World Championship with confidence. Moreover, The Top Gin still has the desire to win the world title.

Following Vinales, there are two names of Ducati riders, Johann Zarco and Francesco Bagnaia. Both of them put in a strong performance in this series. They even put on a great show at the last moment.

When he entered the final corner on the last lap, Joan Mir from Suzuki Ecstar was actually still in second place. However, in the final sector where there were only long straights, Zarco and Bagnaia got on their bikes at full speed and overtook Joan Mir.

Sequentially, Zarco has now collected 20 points, Bagnaia 16, while Joan Mir 13. Fabio Quartararo is fifth in the standings with 11 points.

Meanwhile, two Petronas Yamaha SRT riders, Valentino Rossi and Franco Morbidelli, were not satisfied with the results. Because, both failed to compete in the first position. In fact, Valentino Rossi started from fourth position.
