KOMPAS.com – Group A final match Menpora Cup 2021 has finished competing on Tuesday (30/3/2021).

As a result, Barito Putera and PSIS Semarang confirmed to be the representative of Group A who qualify for the quarter-finals Menpora Cup 2021.

Barito became the first team to qualify after the 2-2 draw with Persikabo 1973 in a match which took place at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Tuesday afternoon.

Laskar Padjajaran, nicknamed Persikabo, made a double that was born through Ahmad Nufiandani (36 ‘) and Andi Setyo (50’).

Meanwhile, Barito Putera stole a goal back through Cassio De Jesus (49 ‘) and M Firli (87’).

This draw ensures Persikabo is eliminated from the 2021 Menpora Cup.

Despite winning 2-1 until the 86th minute, Persikabo had to surrender to only pocketing one point.

Meanwhile, Barito Putera passed to the next phase as runner-up by collecting five points.
