Monza –
racer Mercedes GP Valtteri Bottas will start at the forefront of the sprint qualifying Italian GP 2021 tomorrow. Bottas outperform Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
The Italian GP is the second F1 race this season after England, which uses a new qualifying system. The normal qualifying session was held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza circuit, Friday (10/9/2021) evening WIB.
This will determine the position of the racers in the sprint qualifying, Saturday (11/9) night WIB tomorrow. As usual the qualifiers are divided into three phases with fierce competition taking place in Q3.
Entering Q3, Hamilton, Bottas, and Verstappen competed for pole. Hamilton briefly held the top spot before Bottas overtook him in the final moments by 0.096 seconds.
Bottas pole with a time of 1 minute 19,555 seconds, while Hamilton had 1 minute 19.651 seconds. In third place is the F1 leader from Red Bull Racing Max Verstappen with 1 minute 19.966 seconds.
Completing the top five positions are Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo. Pierre Gasly, Carlos Sainz Jr, Charles Leclerc, Sergio Perez and Antonio Giovinazzi are in the sixth to tenth position.
