2021 Dayton Celtic Festival ha sido cancelado – Celebrity Land

Dayton Celtic Festival 2021 has been canceled

Smaller events are being planned at various locations downtown – Stay tuned for more details on Dayton Celtic’s ‘Knot’

Sad news tonight, as downtown Dayton’s biggest summer festival has been canceled for the second year in a row. The wildly popular Festival celta de Dayton, which was held at the Riverscape Metropark, was scheduled for July 30-August 1.

The Dayton United Irishmen Celtic Festival committee said in a statement released tonight that the recent lifting of COVID-19 public health restrictions did not occur in time to make this year’s festival possible.

The full statement read as follows:

It is with great regret that we regret to announce, due to circumstances beyond our control, we must cancel your festival for July 2021. Unfortunately, the cancellation is necessary due to the late lifting of the COVID-19 health restrictions. We found that due to the late lifting of restrictions, we are unable to present the same caliber event that we have proudly produced for the past two decades. We cannot insure any international artists due to the ongoing global pandemic, we cannot provide imported beers in sufficient quantity, we cannot present an entire cultural area, we cannot offer whiskey tastings, and we cannot create the required new festival. Necessary design due to the significant construction taking place at our festival site. In addition to the reasons listed above, we also believe that a full festival at this time would financially damage our non-profit organization’s ability to host festivals for years to come.

We are already planning our return in 2022 so that we can offer the high-quality event that we all know and love.

Mark your calendars for the 2022 Dayton Celtic Festival – July 29-31, 2022.

Instead of our full 2021 Dayton Celtic Festival, which we typically hold at Riverscape MetroPark, we will host smaller events at various venues downtown as part of an event we call the Dayton Celtic ‘Knot’ Festival Celebration, keeping the Celtic spirit alive at the center. from Dayton the last weekend in July. Below are the details of the 2021 Dayton Celtic ‘Knot’ festival celebration.
