Back 4 blood Developer Turtle Rock Studios recently announced that the game’s difficulty level is higher than originally intended and is working to address the limitation in future updates. The new cooperative first person shooter and spiritual successor to left 4 Dead was released last October and turns out to be a lot harder than the game it was inspired by – especially when played Back 4 Blood’s other available difficulty levels.
Back 4 blood has grown hugely popular since its release, with over 6 million players who have tried the game so far on all platforms on which it is currently available. And those who have been enjoying and enjoying the game so far can look forward to a lot more as Turtle Rock Studios has a fairly extensive update roadmap for them Back 4 blood that will extend well into 2022.

Turtle Rock Studios posted a recap of the latest stream on the game’s subreddit detailing some of the difficulty issues the studio is currently dealing with. According to the studio, it wants to find the right balance for the game’s difficulty level by tweaking its card systems, spawn systems, AI, and more. The first issue that Turtle Rock Studios discussed is the high spawn rate of Back 4 Blood’s specia, l ridden. While the studio released an earlier fix that was supposed to address the issue, they identified a different issue and are currently working on a solution.
The studio discussed the Back 4 Blood’s Trauma damage system that it says is paying off too quickly. A fix for this has already been rolled out on the game’s servers for online play, while a downloadable update that also addresses the problem for the game’s offline modes will be released in the future. Turtle Rock Studios added that it is working to curb the currently popular speed running play style, leading to situations where a player uses a speed run build and leaves the rest of their team behind. The studio stated that it has committed to further balancing and rebalancing the game in the future, and plans to include future map changes in the game’s major updates that could potentially help the studio be more effective with its balance changes.
Recognition from Turtle Rock Studios Back 4 blood is apparently more difficult than originally intended, can relieve players struggling to get through some of the more difficult areas and levels of difficulty in the game. Now players can at least look forward to a more balanced experience, not just a more accessible challenge.
