2020 Austrian MotoGP FP1 Results – Pol Espargaro Brings KTM Racing at Home

BOLASPORT.COM – Red Bull KTM team racer, Pol Espargaro, performed impressively in the first free practice session alias free practice 1 (FP1) MotoGP Austria 2020.

Pol Espargaro succeeded in making KTM appear dominant at home by coming out as the fastest racer in FP1 which took place at the Red Bull Ring, Friday (14/8/2020).

Espargaro recorded the fastest lap time of 1 minute 24.193 seconds or 0.044 seconds ahead of rider Ducati, Andrea Dovizioso who finished second.

Meanwhile, Joan Mir from the Suzuki Ecstar team took third place, who managed to beat the record for the fastest lap time of the LCR Honda racer, Takaaki Nakagami, in the last seconds of FP1.

The course of the 2020 Austrian MotoGP FP1 session

Most of the riders immediately decided to go down to the Red Bull Ring track after the green flag to mark the start of the 2020 Austrian MotoGP FP1 session was raised.

FP1 MotoGP Austria 2020 runs for five minutes, Aprilia racer Aleix Espargaro immediately took first place as the fastest rider after posting a lap time of 1 minute 27,300 seconds.

Soon, Aleix Espargaro was immediately thrown from the position of the fastest racer after losing to compete with his own younger brother, Pol Espargaro who raced for the Red Bull KTM and Fabio Quartararo teams.

Pol Espargaro and the Petronas Yamaha SRT rider competed fiercely to record their best lap times, before finally Johann Zarco of Avintia Racing also heated up the competition.
