STANDING end of Group B AFF Cup 2020 already known. Thanks to finishing as winners of Group B AFF Cup 2020, Indonesian National team will meet Singapore in the 2020 AFF Cup semifinals which will take place on 22 and 25 December 2021.
The Indonesian national team finished as the winner of Group B of the 2020 AFF Cup after collecting 10 points from four matches. The same collection of points is also occupied by Vietnam in second position.
Not only the number of points, the goal difference between Indonesia and Vietnam is also the same, which is +9. It’s just that, because it scored more goals, the Indonesian national team was in a better position.
The Indonesian national team scored 13 goals from four matches. While Vietnam only scored nine goals.
In the last match of the group phase, which had just ended, the Indonesian national team won 4-1 over Malaysia. In this match, Malaysia actually took the lead via Kogileswaran Raj’s long-range shot in the 13th minute. However, the Indonesian national team was able to reverse it via a brace (two goals) by Irfan Jaya.
The first goal of the Indonesian national team was scored by Irfan Jaya in 36 minutes. Using Witan Sulaeman’s cross, Irfan Jaya’s left foot shot tore the Malaysian goal.
Then in minute 43, it was Pratama Arhan’s turn to hit a Malaysian player, Irfan Jaya kicked to break into the Malaya Tiger goal again.
