The teams of Croatia and Belgium did not score each other in the final match of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.
The meeting in Er Rayyan ended with the score 0:0.
At the end of the match, the Belgians had several chances to score, but team leader Romelu Lukaku, who came on as a second-half substitute, failed to convert any of them.
Vice-world champions Croatia finished second in Group F with five points and progressed to the round of 16 for the second consecutive World Cup.
Their opponent to reach the quarterfinals will be known later.
Belgium, bronze medalist at the World Cup in Russia, has four points from three games, closed the performance at the tournament in Qatar, for the first time in 24 years did not make the playoffs.
