20,000 solidarity loans have been approved in O’Higgins.

The Minister of Finance, Rodrigo Cerda, and the Minister of Social Development, Karla Rubilar, made this Monday the first official balance of the applications for the Solidarity Loans Middle class where they reported that, since Saturday, May 8, more than 570,946 applications for the benefit, for a total of $ 240,089 million. In the case of O’Higgins, the Regional Ministerial Adviser of Finance Jorge Palma reported that a total of 20,293 approved applications from non-pensioners are registered, which translates into 8,367 million pesos.

While the Pensionados Solidarity Loan, 466 applications have been entered in the region, for a total amount of 124 million 882 thousand 207 pesos.

The solidarity loan covers up to 100% of the fall in income, with a maximum of $ 650 thousand at a time and may be requested up to 3 times if the Middle Class Bonus has not been accessed, and on 2 occasions if said benefit.

This loan is without interest, it is paid in 4 years and has a one-year grace period, that is, the first payment is in 2023.

On the other hand, the payment of the bonus will begin soon to those who had a 0 balance in their AFP accounts. On Thursday, May 13, the AFPs will send their payroll to the General Treasury of the Republic, so that they can then validate them and make the deposit on Friday. In this way, it is expected that from the week of 18 the application process will begin.
