The couple from “Thuis” was driven onto the square to a lot of cheers. When the marriage vows were repeated, there was silence. “Tamara, will you take Bob as your legal husband”, was solemnly asked by the master of ceremonies on duty Lowie Bomans (interpreted by Mathias Vergels).
“It was a very special feeling,” says actress Tine Priem, who plays the role of Tamara in the series, afterwards. “Especially when we drove through the crowd and everyone was screaming, it was unbelievable.” Actor Christophe Haddad, who plays Bob, was also moved by the many reactions. “What an enthusiasm and love that came from the audience, and we weren’t even on stage then,” says the actor. “It was overwhelming. We are very grateful to be here.”
