A 20-year-old woman died on 14 August from covid-19 in a hospital in Flanders. The victim had chronic underlying conditions, Sciensano confirms.

It is exceptional that someone so young dies from the consequences of the corona virus. This was previously the case with a girl of 3 years, a girl of 12 and a woman of 18 years.
