LEEUWARDEN – A 20-year-old man from the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel was caught by the police on Sunday afternoon in possession of a ball of cocaine. The young driver was checked around 3.30 pm on the Pieter Stuyvesantweg in Leeuwarden.
The officers had the man in their sights because he had previously been caught for possession of a weapon. A search followed, during which the ball of cocaine was found. This one was completely packed. The man also had more than 1000 euros with him.
The man was arrested for possession of drugs and was taken into custody. Both the drugs and money were seized.
