The TopSpeedGermany channel presents maximum speed tests on a variety of new ones cars and although they are quite interesting, there is still something that makes us enjoy the older specimens. While this 20-year-old Audi isn’t a special modification, it’s still interesting to see how it handles German highways without speed limits.
The station wagon was manufactured in 2000 and is equipped with one of the most interesting engines for the model, namely a petrol six with a volume of 2.7 liters and two turbines. Power of 250 horsepower and a maximum torque of 350 Newton meters are transmitted to all four wheels via Quattro drive, and the transmission is automatic.
At the very beginning of the video it is noticed that the Audi is not in perfect condition, judging by the dashboard, where a “check” and an indication of the ABS system signal the presence of problems. However, the car is not particularly difficult and although slower than quite modern cars, it manages to reach speeds of over 240 km / h and even surpass the Porsche 911 GT3.
