Several drug trafficking rings, with ramifications extending across Indre-et-Loire, were dismantled this fall of 2024.
Between September 19 and November 12, the judicial police and the gendarmerie arrested 20 people, ten of whom were indicted. Seven were placed in pre-trial detention, and three others are subject to judicial supervision.
According to the gendarmerie, several trafficking operations supplying Lochois were able to be dismantled, and the arrests took place in Loches itself, Beaulieu-lès-Loches, Nazelles-Négron and Azay-sur-Indre in Indre-et-Loire, as well as in Bourges in Cher and Châtellerault in Vienne.
During various searches, the police seized drugs, a handgun, 23 mobile phones, several thousand euros and a sports car.
