20 minutes – Zoom no longer shares data with Facebook

pingl last week by the American site Motherboard for its lack of transparency, the videoconference service went backwards by deploying an update for its iOS app. He was accused of sending data to his Facebook users, even if they did not have an account on the social network.

The data in question included no personal information, but elements on users’ devices such as the type and version of the mobile system, terminal time zone, model and brand of the device, screen size, processor and disk space, assured Zoom, apologizing for his dubious judge practices. Sharing was the result of integrating into the Facebook Connect feature via the social media development kit.
