We really expected more the band of rockers led by the whimsical Julian Casablancas. And yet. Against all odds, after seven long years of silence, the Strokes will release a new record. The leader of the American group announced it on stage during a rare concert on December 31, 2019.
We have a new album coming soon. 2020, here we are! The years 2010 are now behind us. Now we’ve been defrosted and we’re back, launched Julian Casablancas to the audience at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. In the crowd, the band presented an indie song, the very melancholy Ode To The Mets.
In addition, the Strokes are already announced in many open airs. They will play for example during the Chilean, Argentinian and Brazilian edition of the renowned traveling festival Lollapalooza and also at the Asuncionico Festival in Paraguay.
