Even if the majority of openair festivals have been canceled, “Ten canvases under the stars” will take place every Saturday in Lausanne.

“Chicken Run” celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. A sequel will also be released soon on Netflix.

Youpie! Even if COVID 19 has had the skin of a large part of the summer festivals, it will still be possible to go and land in a park and watch a film outdoors (which is free of charge). Launched 16 years ago by Zinema, “Ten paintings under the starsIs back this weekend. Each Saturday between June 27 and August 29, a film will be shown at 10 p.m. at Parc Mont-Repos (or at Zinema in the event of rain), preceded by a concert, theater or music reading preview.

This year, the event gives pride of place to animated films. Why not (re) see “Chicken Run” (Saturday July 4) for a good slice of fun? Otherwise, “Louise in winter” (July 11), “Princesse Mononoké” (August 1) and “Les hirondelles de Kaboul” (August 29) are all more sublime than the others…
