Two more wrong-way driver accidents this year
The 82-year-old ghost driver died on the scene of the accident. He caused three accidents with eight vehicles. Two people were injured and were taken to the hospital with ambulances.

On January 21, a ghost driver caused an accident on the A2. A driver (51) braked hard and collided head-on with an obstacle. She was slightly injured.
Half turns on the highway

Young drivers are at above average risk of becoming a ghost driver, especially under the influence of alcohol. Only about half of the ghost drivers are already choosing the wrong direction when they exit the motorway – by ignoring a one-way sign. The other half of the ghost drivers first drives correctly, but then turns at a rest area or even on the open road.
Anyone who sees a ghost driver should drive carefully and not overtake. Means: Continue slowly in the right lane. If possible, call the police emergency number immediately.
