20 minutes – garage of a farm completely burned down

Several reader reporters reported a fire in Rothenburg LU. A garage in a farm was on fire. Pictures and videos show how high flames blazed from the building near the Toni Zoo. The fire was visible from afar.

The alarm came in shortly before 9 p.m. A large contingent of several fire departments fought the fire and, according to reporters, soon had it under control.

Cause of fire still unclear

According to the police, no animals or people were injured. The fire department was able to prevent the flames from spreading to the house. The property damage incurred cannot yet be quantified.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is being determined by fire detectives from the Lucerne police. The fire brigades Rothenburg, Rain and Emmen with around 100 people were deployed.
